Historic flea market on Easter Monday in the village of Fussy, near Bourges
The Fussy Easter Monday Flea Market is one of the oldest flea markets in Cher. Since 1986, it has marked the start of the flea market season in the Bourges area. Organized by the FC FSMV association, it brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors each year in the streets of Fussy village, just a few kilometers north of Bourges.
Individuals and flea market professionals offer a wide range of items: antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, vintage clothing, toys, vinyl records, and various curiosities. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, conducive to strolling and finding bargains. Entertainment and rides are offered for children, while the refreshment stand and on-site catering allow visitors to make the most of the day. The town hall traditionally offers a drink of friendship to exhibitors.
Fussy is a residential commune located 5 kilometers north of Bourges, in the Cher department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. The village retains a rural charm with its church and streets lined with Berrichon houses. Its immediate proximity to the capital of Berry makes it a popular spot for festive events and outdoor markets.
