Thursday Flea Market in Cogolin

An institution of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez

Each Thursday morning, the Rond-point de l'Armée d'Afrique in Cogolin hosts one of the Var's major dealer gatherings. Run by Thierry Adam, the Thursday flea market operates year-round, bringing together professional dealers and private sellers in a classic Provençal format.

Sellers set up from 5.30am and exhibit until 2.30pm. The very early start is no accident — the most serious collectors come at dawn, torches in hand in winter, to catch rare pieces just unloaded from the vans. Seller contact: Astrid Dulac on +33 6 08 10 94 73.

Cogolin, flea-market crossroads

At the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Cogolin sits between coast and Maures massif. The town hosts several major flea markets: Thursday at the Rond-point, Sunday at Jas des Robert and sometimes at the Plage des Marines. Together they make Cogolin the weekly hunting capital of the Var.

Tips

• Come very early (5.30-7am) for serious hunting
• Bring a headlamp in winter
• Bring cash, bargaining is expected
