Annual flea market organized by the CCA in Rive-de-Gier
The CCA (Centre Culturel et Associatif) flea market is held every year in Rive-de-Gier, a historic town in the Gier valley at the foot of Pilat. The event welcomes numerous exhibitors from 6 am to 6 pm, with refreshments and food available on site. Rive-de-Gier, a former glass and metal industrial city, offers a picturesque setting between hills and the banks of the Gier for this popular treasure hunting day.
Every year, the CCA of Rive-de-Gier organizes its big flea market in this emblematic town of the Gier valley. The event brings together treasure hunters, collectors, and families in a friendly atmosphere, with refreshments and light catering to enhance the day.
Located between Saint-Étienne and Lyon, Rive-de-Gier is a town of character marked by its industrial past in glassmaking and metallurgy. Its narrow streets, its bridges over the Gier, and its green hillsides form a pleasant backdrop for this open-air flea market. The town is easily accessible via the A47 motorway and the SNCF train station.
