The annual Village flea market, 300 sellers at Parc Jean Vilar organised by the Town Hall
Every third Sunday of September, the Town Hall of Villiers-le-Bel organises its large annual flea market. Around 300 private sellers set up at Parc Jean Vilar offering furniture, clothing, toys and assorted objects. Free stall for residents, β¬7.20 for non-residents, free entry for all visitors.
Villiers-le-Bel (95400) is a Val-d'Oise commune of around 27,000 residents north of Paris. Each September, the Town Hall of Villiers-le-Bel organises its popular annual flea market, one of the highlights of the municipal calendar and an unmissable event for local bargain hunters.
The event gathers approximately 300 private sellers β one of the largest such gatherings in northern Val-d'Oise β all non-professional, offering the contents of their attics in a convivial atmosphere. Retro furniture, clothing, toys, books, crockery, electronics and assorted objects are on offer at prices set freely by each seller.
The flea market is held at Parc Jean Vilar, accessible from Place Victor Hugo and Rue Gambetta. This verdant park offers a pleasant, open-air setting ideal for strolling between stalls. Families particularly appreciate the location, where children can run freely while adults browse at leisure.
Registration is mandatory and must be done in person at the Cultural Services office (Maison Jacques Brel, 44 avenue Pierre-SΓ©mard). Each seller must present ID and proof of address. Stalls are 3 linear metres; the fee is free for Villiers-le-Bel residents and β¬7.20 for non-residents. Professionals are not admitted.
Accessible from RER D Villiers-le-Bel β Gonesse β Arnouville station (approx. 10 min walk). Parking in surrounding streets. Several bus lines serve the town centre.
