About Brocante des Coteaux Argenteuil
Every first Sunday in June, the Lions Club Argenteuil Impressionnistes organises its great Brocante des Coteaux on the Rue de la Grande Voie. With 164 carefully selected private stallholders, this event combines the spirit of a quality second-hand market with the charitable tradition of a committed association. In a city forever linked to the Impressionist heritage, this friendly flea market invites visitors to browse a varied selection of bric-à-brac, antiques and curiosities.
The Brocante des Coteaux, a community tradition in the service of solidarity
Organised by the Lions Club Argenteuil Impressionnistes, the Brocante des Coteaux is one of the most eagerly awaited summer events in the city. Every year at the beginning of June, the Rue de la Grande Voie welcomes around 164 private stallholders who offer their accumulated treasures in a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Admission is free, and the organisation's proceeds are channelled back into the Lions Club's charitable actions.
164 stallholders, 164 object stories
Private sellers only, carefully selected, each of the 164 exhibitors brings their own fragment of domestic history: antique dressers with their faience, retro toys forgotten at the back of attics, stamp and postcard collections, vinyl records and period turntables, tools of vanished trades, garden furniture, paintings and prints, silverware and jewellery boxes. The diversity of offerings makes this a favourite stop for collectors and casual visitors alike.
