On Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, the village of Moutier-d'Ahun hosted its traditional spring flea market. From 6 am, the earliest exhibitors set up their stalls in the village streets and the central square. At 8 am, visitors began to flock for this first major treasure hunting event of the season in Creuse.
The aisles offered an eclectic assortment: oak farm tables, porcelain tableware, vintage garden tools, antique books, tin toys, vintage clothing, and assorted trinkets. The village's heritage setting, with its abbatial church featuring woodwork carved by Simon Bauer, added to the charm of the day. The most curious treasure hunters took the opportunity to visit this masterpiece of Limousin baroque art before continuing their journey among the stalls.
