Organized by the municipality, this event brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, in the squares and streets of the village. Visitors enjoy free entry, on-site catering, and a friendly atmosphere from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Every year in May, the small town of Marle, located in the north of Aisne in the heart of Thiérache, hosts a flea market that takes over its town center. Organized by the municipality, this event is an opportunity to discover this town, which houses the Museum of the Barbarian Times, dedicated to the Merovingian period, while strolling among the stalls of the antique dealers.
With 100 to 200 exhibitors depending on the edition, the Marle flea market offers a varied selection of goods: antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, books, vintage clothing, and collector's items. The stands stretch along the streets of the town center, offering a pleasant treasure-hunting route in this locality with remarkable architectural heritage, between half-timbered houses and red brick buildings typical of Thiérache.
Catering and refreshment stands are available on-site, allowing treasure hunters to eat between finds. The generous hours, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., give early birds and Sunday strollers alike time to browse all the stands. Entry is free for visitors.
