The 2025 edition of the Brocante de l'Ascension in Château-Thierry was held on Thursday, May 29th, on rue de la Plaine. Looking Back at the 2025 Edition
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Ascension Day, rue de la Plaine in Château-Thierry hosted the traditional flea market organized by the Lions Club Vallée de la Marne. Exhibitors set up from 5:15 a.m., welcomed with coffee offered by Lions Club volunteers, before the arrival of the first bargain hunters.
Throughout the day, visitors browsed stalls offering antique furniture, collectible tableware, trinkets, books, and curiosities. The setting of Château-Thierry, the birthplace of Jean de La Fontaine, added to the charm of this day of treasure hunting in the heart of the Marne valley. The profits from the event were donated to the Lions Club's solidarity actions.
