Châtillon-sur-Indre is a commune of about 2,500 inhabitants located 35 km northwest of Châteauroux. The town is dominated by its spectacular 12th-century cylindrical keep, one of the oldest in France, a remnant of the fortress of the lords of Châtillon. The Romanesque collegiate church, cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and ramparts form a remarkable heritage site. The commune also benefits from its proximity to the Châtillon forest and the banks of the Indre river.
The June flea market is complemented by entertainment and on-site catering. Exhibitions are sometimes organized in parallel. Admission is free, and the medieval setting of the town adds a special charm to the day of bargain hunting.
The June flea market in Châtillon-sur-Indre returns on June 14, 2026, with approximately 130 exhibitors.
