At the foot of the Château de Javarzay, an elegant Renaissance building classified as a Historic Monument, one of the finest flea markets in Deux-Sèvres takes place every spring Sunday. For over four decades, this Sunday event has attracted bargain hunters, collectors and families from across Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The market stands out for its scale: every Sunday from April to June, over 300 exhibitors set up along Avenue des Fils Fouquaud. The offering is rich, mixing antiques, vintage furniture, crockery, books, vintage clothing, toys and decorative items.
Built in the 16th century, the Château de Javarzay is one of the architectural jewels of Deux-Sèvres. Its Renaissance facades and tree-lined grounds provide a magnificent backdrop for the flea market.
The 43rd season of the Javarzay Flea Market runs every Sunday from April to June 2026 at Château de Javarzay in Chef-Boutonne. Over 300 exhibitors expected each week: antiques, vintage clothing and collectibles. Free admission, 6 AM to 6 PM. Refreshments and catering on site.
