Vintage weekend, craftsmen and auto-moto gathering in Cocherel, village of Pays de l'Ourcq
The spring Cocherel Flea Market is an original event combining traditional flea market, vintage weekend, local craftsmen and auto-moto gathering. Organized around the village community hall, this three-day event attracts bargain hunters, vintage vehicle collectors and curious visitors looking for an original outing. A friendly spring event in the heart of Pays de l'Ourcq, in Seine-et-Marne.
The spring Cocherel Flea Market stands out from classic events by its eclectic three-day program. From April 17 to 19, 2026, the community hall and its surroundings come alive around several complementary universes: a flea market with its treasures of antique and vintage objects, a craftsmen area that showcases local creators, and an auto-moto gathering that attracts enthusiasts of beautiful mechanics.
Vintage has become a real social phenomenon in recent years, driven by a new generation of collectors and enthusiasts seduced by the aesthetics and objects of the 1950s to 1980s. In Cocherel, the vintage weekend allows visitors to discover design furniture, retro lighting, vinyl records, period clothing, posters and small everyday objects that nostalgically evoke past decades.
Cocherel is a small commune of about 620 inhabitants, the Cocherellois, located in the north of Seine-et-Marne, about fifteen kilometers from Meaux. Its history is intimately linked to that of the neighboring village of Crépoil: until 1842, the two communes formed distinct parishes, but they were united into a single administrative entity by a royal ordinance of December 11, 1887, with Cocherel as the chief place.
The presence of a space dedicated to craftsmen gives this event an additional dimension. It is an opportunity for visitors to discover local know-how: handmade jewelry, pottery, textiles, natural cosmetics, local products, wood or metal creations.
The auto-moto gathering integrated into the event is a major attraction that alone justifies the trip for many visitors. Classic cars, vintage motorcycles, rare or popular vehicles come together around the community hall in a friendly atmosphere.
