Annual flea market in the streets of Pannes organized by Pannes-Loisirs
Each year at the beginning of July, the village of Pannes transforms into a vast open-air flea market. Organized by the association Pannes-Loisirs, this flea market brings together around 200 exhibitors in the village streets, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the department and beyond.
Pannes is a small village of less than 200 inhabitants, but its flea market extends far beyond the municipal borders. With 200 stalls mixing flea market professionals and individuals, the event unfolds across several village streets, offering a varied and complete treasure hunt. Antique furniture, crockery, trinkets, clothes, toys, tools, and collectibles are displayed side by side.
The Brocante de Pannes is not just about treasure hunting. The Pannes-Loisirs association offers refreshments and food on-site throughout the day, allowing visitors to eat between finds. To cap off this festive day, fireworks are set off in the evening, turning the flea market into a true village celebration.
The most discerning treasure hunters know that the best deals are made early. In Pannes, the event opens its doors at 5 a.m., allowing early risers to spot rare items before the crowds arrive. Exhibitors set up between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. The flea market then continues until 6 p.m., giving afternoon strollers time to enjoy the last finds.
