Annual flea market in Cléty, a village in the Aa valley
The Brocante de Cléty is held in this small village in the Aa valley, a few kilometers from Lumbres. Cléty, a commune of about 300 inhabitants, offers a village flea market every autumn, appreciated by local treasure hunters. The bucolic setting of this village nestled in the Parc naturel régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale adds to the pleasure of discovery.
While most flea markets are held in spring or summer, the one in Cléty is an exception, taking place in September. The late season, with its golden light and still mild temperatures, offers a pleasant setting for this intimate event in one of the smallest villages in the Audomarois region.
Cléty is part of the Parc naturel régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale, a vast preserved area between the Opal Coast and Artois. The village, crossed by a tributary of the Aa, is surrounded by woods and meadows. Its church and a few farms make up a typical rural landscape of the Boulonnais bocage.
