Les Matelles (34270), a village of character located at the foot of Pic Saint-Loup, hosts an autumn car boot sale organized by the association Mon École et Moi each year. The event takes place behind the media library, in a shaded and sheltered area. From 8 am to 1 pm, private sellers offer clothes, toys, books, tableware, and trinkets at low prices. The profits are donated to the communal school's projects.

Admission is free and open to all. The association Mon École et Moi ensures a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In case of bad weather, the event may be postponed to the following Sunday. The profits help fund school trips and educational projects for the Les Matelles school.
