Chasseneuil is a commune of about 700 inhabitants located in the Champagne berrichonne, halfway between Châteauroux and Issoudun. The village is situated in the vast cereal plain of the center of the Indre department, a landscape of large crops that stretches as far as the eye can see under the Berrichon sky. The commune retains its church and built heritage in limestone typical of the Champagne berrichonne. The village is crossed by picturesque secondary roads connecting the two main towns of the department.
The brocante de Chasseneuil is an eagerly awaited event for the inhabitants and bargain hunters in the area. Food is available on site. Admission is free.
