The Cambremer Flea Market: Treasure Hunting in the Heart of Pays d'Auge

Every year in June, the Bisson stadium in Cambremer hosts a large car boot sale and flea market organized by APE Cambremer (Association of Parents of Students). This event is one of the major gatherings of the flea market season in Pays d'Auge, attracting treasure hunters and families in an exceptional rural setting.

Cambremer is a village in Calvados nestled in the heart of Pays d'Auge, a land of cider, cheeses, and calvados. This picturesque town, with its half-timbered houses and old market hall, is one of the most charming villages in Normandy. The commune is also a major stop on the Route du Cidre, a tourist route winding through apple orchards and Norman manors. The Bisson stadium offers a vast outdoor space ideal for hosting this event.

Outdoor and Indoor Hall for Exhibitors

The originality of the Cambremer flea market is to offer pitches both outdoors (€3 per meter) and indoors under a hall (€4 per meter), allowing participants to brave the whims of Norman weather. Professionals are also welcome (€6 per meter). Registration is done via the Resapuces platform, ensuring smooth organization.

A Flea Market Village All Year Round

Beyond the June car boot sale, Cambremer hosts a regular flea market every first Sunday of the month under the village market hall. Around thirty exhibitors offer books, glassware, antique furniture, vintage items, folk art, and garden decorations. 50 meters away, the Cour Carrée des Brocanteurs brings together about ten professional antique dealers and second-hand dealers.
