Grand spring flea market in Chambourg-sur-Indre with 235 exhibitors at the stadium
The flea market of Chambourg-sur-Indre is one of the first major treasure hunting events of the season in Indre-et-Loire. Every spring, 235 exhibitors take over the village stadium to offer furniture, tableware, tools, books, toys, clothing, trinkets, vinyl records, antique linens, and objects of all kinds. The scale of the event and its early date in the calendar make it a highly anticipated event for treasure hunters from Touraine and Berry.
Chambourg-sur-Indre (37310) is a village in the Indre Valley, located between Loches and Châtillon-sur-Indre. The commune stretches along the river in a landscape of meadows and poplar trees. The Romanesque Saint-Pierre church, with its remarkable sculpted portal, bears witness to the rich heritage of this corner of southern Touraine. The village is close to the Château d'Azay-le-Ferron and the forest of Loches, one of the largest in the region.
Organized by the festival committee, the Chambourg-sur-Indre flea market offers refreshments and food on site. Entry is free for visitors. The stadium offers ample parking space.
