Upmarket brocante at La Fruitière Numérique, Lourmarin's cultural hub
La Fruitière Numérique is no ordinary venue. Housed in a former 19th-century olive cooperative at the heart of the village, it is one of Provence's most innovative cultural hubs. Restored heritage architecture, cutting-edge digital equipment, artist residencies and cultural programming create a distinctive identity that brings patrimony and modernity together.
This event stands apart from village flea markets. Exhibitors are professionals and seasoned collectors: antique dealers, licensed brocanteurs, specialists. Offerings include 18th-20th century furniture, paintings, decorative arts, glass, ceramics, antique jewellery, watches, lamps, textiles, books, collectible items (postcards, old papers, antique toys, militaria, records).
Hours are wide: 6am to 7pm. The earliest hunters, with headlamps, can be first to spot fresh pieces — a professional brocante format imported from places like L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.
Lourmarin, one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, offers an incomparable setting: flowered alleys, craft boutiques, a Renaissance castle, gastronomic cafés and restaurants, art galleries, Camus' and Bosco's graves. The fair attracts sophisticated second-home owners and international visitors seeking authentic pieces for their Provençal homes.
