Held in the heart of summer, the 15 August brocante is one of the highlights of the Luberon summer calendar. It takes advantage of the tremendous tourist attendance of high season: French and international visitors, second-home owners, valley residents and brocante fans converge on place Barthélemy.

A mix of professionals and private sellers: connoisseurs can talk to antique dealers while families hunt for affordable décor. Antique furniture, decorative objects, tableware, glass, antique linen (boutis, indiennes), books, postcards, antique toys, vintage jewellery.

A summer day in Lourmarin

Hunt early, lunch on a terrace, siesta in the shade, castle visit, apéritif in an AOC Luberon wine cellar. Particularly lively on 15 August, Assumption holiday.
