Flea market and car boot sale of the Charentilly festival, family entertainment and conviviality
The Charenti'fête brocante is the annual festive event of Charentilly, organized by the eponymous association. Every September, a car boot sale is set up in the village center of this residential town north of Tours. The event is complemented by family entertainment — pony rides, rifle shooting, fishing — and convivial catering with wine and oysters.
The Charenti'fête association organizes the Charentilly village festival every September, of which the car boot sale is the highlight. Set up in the streets of the village center and around the village hall, rue du Colonel Faroux, the car boot sale welcomes private sellers offering clothes, toys, books, trinkets, dishes and second-hand items. The festival is complemented by family entertainment: pony rides, rifle shooting, fishing and games for children.
Charentilly is a town of about 1,400 inhabitants located immediately north of Tours, in the Choisille valley. This residential village has retained a rural village center with its church, town hall and village hall. The proximity of the Tours metropolis ensures good attendance at local events. The surrounding woods and meadows give the town a green living environment.
The Charenti'fête association enlivens community life throughout the year with the car boot sale, a childcare exchange and a winter festival. On the day of the flea market, the catering offers wine and oysters in a friendly atmosphere. Admission is free.
Charenti'fête returns on September 20, 2026 in Charentilly. Car boot sale, family entertainment, wine and oysters. Free admission.
