Broc'Musique de Monflanquin

The musical flea market of the medieval fortified town

The association Passion Musique organizes every March 1st in Monflanquin an original and specialized flea market: the Broc'Musique. Over approximately 400 m² covered in the Salle des Fêtes, protected from the weather, exhibitors and visitors meet to exchange musical instruments, electronic equipment, accessories, sheet music, CDs, and vinyl records, both old and new.

A musical program on the agenda

The Broc'Musique is not limited to the commercial aspect: at noon, the hall's stage hosts a free concert by the Bigband Swingin' Bastides, an orchestra that offers 1930s-40s swing, funk jazz, and international variety. Spaces are delimited by rectangular tables of 1.80 m x 0.75 m, available for €7 per table. Passion Musique manages a refreshment stand with drinks and light snacks throughout the day.

The Broc'Musique illustrates the cultural vitality of Monflanquin (47150), a hilltop village classified among the most beautiful in France. This 13th-century royal bastide, with its arcaded square and medieval streets, hosts several cultural and heritage events each year that attract visitors and enthusiasts from all over the region.
