Annual flea market in front of the Favier gymnasium in Chavanay
The bric-à-brac of Chavanay brings together about eighty private exhibitors in front of the Favier gymnasium in this wine-growing town in the Rhône valley. Chavanay, known for its Condrieu and Saint-Joseph appellation wines, offers a pleasant setting for this spring treasure hunt day in the Rhône region.
Chavanay, a wine-growing town in the Rhône valley located between Vienne and Saint-Étienne, organizes its bric-à-brac every spring in front of the Favier gymnasium. About eighty private exhibitors offer toys, clothes, crockery, books, and various objects.
The town of Chavanay is famous for its terraced vineyards which produce the prestigious Condrieu (white wine) and Saint-Joseph appellations. Visitors to the bric-à-brac can extend their day by discovering local cellars and tasting local wines.
The association Familles Rurales de Chavanay also organizes a children's Bric Broc on the same day, dedicated to clothes and toys for the youngest.
The bric-à-brac of Chavanay returns on April 26, 2026, in front of the Favier gymnasium.
