The Photo and Cinema Fair: the meeting place for image enthusiasts

The Photo Ciné Club du Berry, a Berry-based association dedicated to the practice and promotion of amateur photography and cinema, has been organizing its annual fair at the Halle au Blé in Bourges since 2025. Following the success of the first edition — about ten exhibitors and over 200 visitors — the event returns in 2026 for a second edition that promises to be even richer.

The Halle au Blé: a bright setting for photography

The Halle au Blé, an 18th-century building located on rue de la Halle in the heart of Bourges, offers a historic and functional setting for this specialized fair. Its vast interior spaces, bathed in natural light, host the exhibitors' stands and the PCCB members' exhibition. Color and black and white prints are displayed alongside vintage cameras and shooting accessories, creating a rich and stimulating visual universe.

A niche market for collectors

The fair attracts a discerning audience: amateur and professional photographers looking for used equipment, collectors of analog cameras, amateur filmmakers seeking projectors and Super 8 cameras, bibliophiles specializing in photographic works. Exhibitors, charged €15 per linear meter with tables provided, offer a complete range of equipment: SLR bodies, lenses, flashes, tripods, films, photo paper, artist prints, specialized books, and magazines.

Founded in Bourges, the PCCB brings together photography and cinema enthusiasts of all levels. The club organizes workshops, photo outings, screenings, and exhibitions throughout the year. The annual fair is its flagship event, offering an opportunity to showcase the work of its members while providing a space for exchange and equipment sales.
