Fontanes (46240) hosts one of the most original events in the Lot each spring: the Motorcycle Car Boot Sale organized by the Club Amitié Loisirs, managed by Jacky Chaubard. This original event combines three complementary activities into a single day, making it a unique meeting point in the department.

The day is organized into three distinct but complementary parts:

The motorcycle and moped market takes place in the village streets from 7 am to 5 pm, with pitches at €3 per linear meter. Lovers of old two-wheelers, collectors, and vintage mechanics enthusiasts gather to buy, sell, and exchange motorcycles, mopeds, spare parts, and accessories from all eras.

The book, postcard, and old paper market is held in the village hall from 9 am to 5 pm, with pitches at €5 per linear meter. Book lovers, antique postcard collectors, and vintage document enthusiasts find their treasures in this dedicated space, where exceptional discoveries can be made.

The car boot sale occupies the village streets from 7 am to 7 pm, offering all the expected variety: clothing, crockery, toys, furniture, tools, and everyday objects.
