Parts, collection and fine mechanics at Pichery park
On 11 and 12 April 2026, Gaillac hosts its 7th auto-moto swap meet, a must-attend event for vintage vehicle enthusiasts. In the gymnasium and park of Pichery, around a hundred exhibitors offer spare parts, documentation, miniatures and collector vehicles. Free admission from 9am to 6pm on both days, refreshments and catering provided by the volunteers.
Organised by the Gaillac retro auto-moto association (AVAG), the auto-moto swap meet celebrates its seventh edition in 2026. Set up each spring at the Pichery gymnasium and park, it has become over the years an unmissable event for vintage vehicle enthusiasts across the South-West.
Around a hundred exhibitors cover the full spectrum of mechanical treasure hunting: new and second-hand parts for old cars and motorcycles, carburettors, headlights, speedometers, rims, vintage tyres, seats, bonnets, but also workshop manuals, technical magazines, advertising posters, enamel plates, 1/43 or 1/18 miniatures, model kits.
Beyond the stands, the swap meet offers the chance to see specimens of all ages and brands gathered on the vintage vehicle parking: 2CV, DS, Traction, Alpine, Triumph, MG, Jaguar, as well as Peugeot and Motobécane motorcycles, sidecars and solex.
Gaillac, a small town nestled on the banks of the Tarn, is the capital of a thousand-year-old vineyard. Its quays, Saint-Michel Benedictine abbey and medieval alleys are worth the detour.
