Each spring, the Aups flea market returns to Town Hall Square. A regular rendezvous for Haut-Var bargain hunters, this monthly event attracts professional and amateur exhibitors to one of the most beautiful squares of the Var truffle capital. A friendly event under plane trees, in the village heart.
Aups, truffle capital and bargain hunter village
Aups is one of the iconic Haut-Var villages, nationally known as the black truffle capital. Its winter truffle market is one of the three most important in the world. Aups is also a regular stopover for bargain hunters with its monthly flea market on Town Hall Square.
Town Hall Square, Provençal gem
One of the most beautiful squares in Haut-Var: century-old plane trees, café terraces, town hall facade. Exhibitors set up from 9am with a typical mix:
- Small-scale antiques: silverware, glassware, ceramics.
- Provençal furniture, bedside tables, armchairs.
- Antique dishware, earthenware.
- Old books, postcards, paperwork.
