On the first Tuesday of July, Aups opens its night flea market season on Town Hall Square (Place Frédéric Mistral). From 5-6pm until late evening, residents and holidaymakers hunt in the cool under century-old plane trees. A unique summer atmosphere in this iconic Haut-Var village when the Var heatwave finally relents.
Summer bargain hunting goes nocturnal in Aups
In peak summer, Haut-Var temperatures make daytime markets uncomfortable. Aups devised an adapted formula: a night flea market in the beautiful Town Hall Square. Stalls open late afternoon (5-6pm), enjoy the gradual sunset and extend late into the evening.
