Blanzay Spring Fair

A multi-event fair in Civraisien

Blanzay, c. 500 inhabitants, Civraisien en Poitou, southern Vienne, a few km from Civray. Each spring, the festival committee runs its Spring Fair, now a popular southern Vienne event. 2026: Sunday 10 May, 10 am-6 pm, Place Jean Baillargé.

Three events in one

• Brocante: pro and private sellers with old furniture, trinkets, crockery, collectibles
• Flea market: villagers and neighbours with bric-à-brac, toys, clothes, books
• Classic car parade: gathering and exhibition of beautiful old motors — especially popular

Chiners, car fans, strolling families — typical south-Vienne village fête atmosphere.

Food and drink

Festival committee provides drinks and food all day: grills, drinks, home baking.

Central village square, space for sellers and car parade. Adjacent streets also used.

Blanzay, a Civraisien village

Preserved rural setting, between farmland and woods. Civraisien en Poitou — near Charroux (Most Beautiful Village of France), Civray and its Romanesque Saint-Nicolas church, Availles-Limouzine.

From Civray via D7 (10 min), from Poitiers via RN10 + D7 (1 h). Free parking.
