Every last Sunday of September, the commune of Marboué (28200) hosts its big annual car boot sale at the village hall, rue du Docteur Péan. Organized by the commune's festival committee, this event brings together about one hundred and fifty exhibitors, both private and professional, for a long day of treasure hunting from 8 am to 6 pm. The Dunois region, a fertile area east of Chartres, makes it a popular autumn event for bargain hunters in Eure-et-Loir.
