APE Kermoulin Car boot sale

The APE Kermoulin Car Boot Sale, a Family Winter Event in Moëlan-sur-Mer

Every year in February, the Parc ar C'hoat gymnasium in Moëlan-sur-Mer (29350) transforms into a large second-hand market for the APE Kermoulin Car Boot Sale. Organized by the Parents' Association of the Kermoulin elementary school, this event brings together over 70 individual exhibitors offering clothes for children and adults, toys, books, games, tableware, and various items.

A Solidarity Initiative for the School

In the tradition of community car boot sales, the proceeds from this event are entirely reinvested in funding educational projects, school trips, and cultural activities for the students of Kermoulin school. The 2025 edition surpassed 1,000 visitors, demonstrating the attachment of the residents of Moëlan-sur-Mer and neighboring towns to this event. The 28th edition took place in February 2026, confirming the longevity and vitality of this annual gathering.

Moëlan-sur-Mer, Between Sea and Nature

Moëlan-sur-Mer is a commune in southern Finistère located at the mouth of the Brigneau, Merrien, and Belon rivers, on the coast of Cornouaille. Its territory features a mix of small fishing ports, wild coves, and coastal forests, making it a popular destination for hikers and lovers of Breton nature. The commune is part of the Quimperlé les Rias inter-municipal community and is well-served from Quimperlé.

Practical Information for Visitors and Exhibitors

The car boot sale takes place at the Parc ar C'hoat gymnasium. Refreshments are available on-site, as well as a children's area. Admission is charged (modest fee). Individuals wishing to have a stall can contact APE Kermoulin at the beginning of the school year to reserve their spot. Only individuals are admitted as exhibitors. The event generally takes place on Sunday mornings and afternoons.
