Since 2001, the Gimont Festiv' association has organized a large car boot sale every second Sunday in September, which has become one of the unmissable events of the back-to-school season in the Gers region. With approximately 250 exhibitors, it is one of the largest car boot sales in the department.

A treasure hunt route through the entire bastide

The originality of this car boot sale lies in its exceptional route that crosses the bastide from end to end. The stalls stretch from the Halle Centrale, passing through the Placette des Tilleuls, and continue all along Rue Nationale to the Hospital. This linear route of about one kilometer offers visitors a pleasant walk punctuated by discoveries, within the harmonious architectural setting of this Gascon bastide.

The 250 exhibitors present each year offer a considerable selection of second-hand items: clothing, toys, books, dishes, small furniture, trinkets, tools, household appliances, decorations, and all sorts of objects.
