Grand July 14th flea market in Ambrault with fireworks, popular ball, and catering
L'Ambrault'cante is the grand July 14th flea market in Ambrault, a festive tradition combining car boot sales, flea markets, catering, fireworks, and a popular ball. An unmissable event for the national holiday in the north of Indre.
Every July 14th, Ambrault celebrates the national holiday with L'Ambrault'cante, a major event that combines flea markets, car boot sales, and festivities. Exhibitors, professionals and individuals, take over the village to offer furniture, trinkets, tableware, tools, clothing, books, toys, and all sorts of bric-a-brac. The event includes catering at noon and in the evening, numerous activities throughout the day, and concludes with fireworks and a popular ball.
Ambrault is a commune of about 1,200 inhabitants located in the Champagne berrichonne, between Issoudun and Reuilly. This cereal plain village is animated by a dynamic associative fabric that organizes several events throughout the year. L'Ambrault'cante, now in its fortieth edition, is the flagship event of the commune, attracting visitors from well beyond the canton's borders.
L'Ambrault'cante is much more than a flea market: it is a complete popular festival with activities, catering, pyrotechnic show, and dancing. Entry is free.
Ambrault'cante returns on July 14, 2026, with a flea market, fireworks, and a popular ball.
