Every spring, the association La Tribu organizes in Alboussière (07440) its Clothing and Childcare Equipment Exchange, a must-attend event for families in the northern Ardèche region. This friendly event allows parents to refresh their children's wardrobes at affordable prices while giving a second life to items they no longer need.

The association La Tribu, a key player in local life

La Tribu is a cultural and social association well established in the territory of Alboussière, Champis, Saint-Sylvestre, Saint-Romain-de-Lerps, and Boffres. It offers activities for children, young people, and adults throughout the year: leisure center, workshops, cultural outings, and social actions. The organization of this exchange is part of its mission to support families and promote responsible and supportive consumption.

A market dedicated to children and families

The exchange is exclusively dedicated to children's clothing and childcare equipment: clothes of all sizes (baby, child, teenager), shoes, coats, jackets, as well as strollers, car seats, bouncers, play mats, toys, and childcare accessories. It's the ideal opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season or to get rid of items that have become too small.

Practical organization of the day

Exhibitors register in advance and pay a flat fee of €5 for 2 meters of table space. Tables and chairs are provided by the association, greatly facilitating setup. It is also possible to bring an additional clothing rack to display more clothes. Setup takes place between 8 AM and 8:30 AM, and the exchange is open to the public from 9 AM to 6 PM. Exhibitors can start packing up from 6 PM.

Entry is free for visitors, encouraging high family attendance. The refreshment stand and activities create a warm atmosphere throughout the day.

Alboussière, an Ardèche village between Privas and Valence

Alboussière is a village in northern Ardèche, located about 15 km northwest of Valence and about twenty kilometers from Privas. Perched on a plateau at over 600 meters altitude, it benefits from a remarkable natural setting, between coniferous forests and panoramic views of the Rhône valley and the Vercors. The village is easily accessible from Valence via the D533, which provides a good customer base for this type of event.
