The monthly car boot sale at La Balisaccia in Alata

Every first Saturday of the month, the La Balisaccia site in the commune of Alata hosts a monthly car boot sale. Located opposite the Balisaccia bar, along the coastal road towards Sagone, this outdoor space offers a clear and practical setting for this regular event that punctuates the life of the commune throughout the year.

Individuals and dealers offer everything from attics and wardrobes on their stalls: clothing, crockery, furniture, books, toys, decorative items, and various articles. The well-established monthly format attracts a loyal clientele of bargain hunters in the Ajaccio area.

Organization and bookings

Pitches are 4 meters by 4 meters for a fee of 10 euros. A loyalty offer is available: from the sixth booking onwards, the pitch is free. Bookings are made by email only (contact details available on local classified ad sites). This dematerialized management simplifies the process for regular exhibitors.

Opposite the car boot sale site, the Balisaccia bar offers daily specials on request, allowing exhibitors and visitors alike to have lunch on site after a morning of treasure hunting. The proximity of a catering facility makes the day complete and convivial.
