The ACCA of Croix-Chapeau Car Boot Sale: Treasure Hunting in the Heart of Aunis

Every August, the Association Communale de Chasse Agréée (ACCA) of Croix-Chapeau organizes its grand car boot sale at Espace Jean Gauvin, on the village's former football field. This summer event brings together between 50 and 100 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, for a friendly day of treasure hunting in this commune of the Aunis plain.

A Generous and Well-Organized Car Boot Sale

Over the years, the ACCA of Croix-Chapeau has successfully built a quality car boot sale, appreciated by bargain hunters from the La Rochelle area. The pitches, charged at 3 euros per linear meter with a minimum of 3 meters, accommodate a diverse offering: country furniture, antique tableware, garden tools, trinkets, toys, books, clothing, and decorative items. Coffee is offered to exhibitors upon arrival at 6:30 am, a welcoming gesture that sets the tone for the day.

Croix-Chapeau is a residential commune in the Aunis plain, located about ten kilometers southeast of La Rochelle. This developing village has preserved its rural character, with its church, white stone farms, and country lanes lined with hedges.
