The car boot sale of the Yzosse festival committee

Yzosse is a small village of about 400 inhabitants located a few kilometers from Dax, in the Landes region. Every first Sunday of September, the festival committee organizes its annual car boot sale, which over the years has become a popular event for bargain hunters from Dax and the Chalosse region.

16 editions of conviviality

In 2026, the Yzosse car boot sale celebrates its 16th edition, demonstrating the loyalty of the public and the quality of the organization provided by the festival committee. The event has found its place in the calendar of Landes flea markets, between the major summer events and the autumn revival.

Indoor and outdoor

The car boot sale offers two types of pitches. Indoors, tables and chairs are provided at 4 euros per meter, offering appreciated comfort. Outdoors, pitches are offered at 3 euros per meter, tables and chairs not provided. Racks are available at 2 euros per meter. This diversity allows each exhibitor to choose the formula that suits their needs.

The suckling pig meal

The gastronomic highlight of the day is the suckling pig meal served at noon for 10 euros: starter, suckling pig, fries, and ice cream make up this generous menu. The refreshment stand is open all day, and a coffee is offered to exhibitors upon their arrival at 6 a.m. This attention contributes to the warm atmosphere that characterizes the event.

A human-sized car boot sale

The Yzosse car boot sale is distinguished by its human-sized format. Unlike large, impersonal flea markets, here the exhibitors often know each other, exchanges are sincere, and prices are reasonable. The multi-purpose hall, located rue des Fauvettes, offers a covered space appreciated when the weather is uncertain. Outdoor pitches allow for extending the sales area in good weather. The proximity of Dax, just a few kilometers away, also attracts bargain hunters from Dax who appreciate this preserved and friendly village atmosphere.
