The 8th car boot sale and flea market of La Motte-Feuilly is set up in the heart of this small village dominated by a remarkable medieval castle. Exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, offer furniture, tableware, toys, books, clothing, trinkets, tools, records, decorative objects and all sorts of attic finds. The exceptional setting of the castle, visible from all over the village, gives this flea market a unique atmosphere that attracts bargain hunters from all over the department.
La Motte-Feuilly is a commune of just 60 inhabitants which boasts an extraordinary architectural heritage for its size. The Château de La Motte-Feuilly, built in the 13th century, is an exceptional testament to medieval castle architecture in Berry. It was owned by Charlotte d'Albret, wife of César Borgia, who lived there in seclusion after her husband's downfall. The village is located in the Boischaut Sud, between Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre, made famous by the film *Jour de fête* by Jacques Tati, and La Châtre, the town of George Sand.
The La Motte-Feuilly car boot sale is accessible free of charge. A refreshment stand and food are available on site in a warm village atmosphere.
