A young Santerre rederie emerging on Assumption day
The 4th Le Quesnel Rederie gathers each August 15 a hundred exhibitors on rue de la Chapelle in this Santerre village, at the gates of Roye. Born in 2022, the event has quickly established itself as one of the Assumption rendezvous in the eastern Somme, with a fine Picard, family and friendly atmosphere.
All great Picard rederies were once young events. The Le Quesnel one, celebrating its 4th edition in 2026, perfectly illustrates the rural associative dynamism of the Somme. Launched in 2022, the event found its date and its public on August 15.
Rue de la Chapelle, where the rederie unfolds, offers a linear and friendly setting. Proximity to A1 motorway contributes to its success.
