Les Ancizes-Comps, a commune in the Combrailles region known for its water reservoir and aluminum plant, is launching an original concept: the double village car boot sale. The hamlets of Farges and Montavert will simultaneously open their doors to bargain hunters on July 14th for this first edition.
An Immersion in the Combrailles
Farges and Montavert, two hamlets in the commune of Les Ancizes-Comps, offer an authentic rural setting for this unique car boot sale day. Visitors will travel between the two villages, discovering the attics and cellars of these Combrailles hamlets.
Car Boot Sale Farges Montavert Villages — edition 2026
The 1st edition of the Double vide villages de Farges et Montavert will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 8 am to 7 pm, in the hamlets of Farges and Montavert, in the commune of Les Ancizes-Comps (63770).
Organized by the village of Farges, this flea market brings together residents of both villages who set up stalls along the streets. Free entry for bargain hunters. Food and refreshments available on site, in the village of Farges.
For its first edition, the Double vide villages de Farges et Montavert takes over two hamlets of Les Ancizes-Comps, in Puy-de-Dôme, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
From 8 am to 7 pm, exhibitors — all private individuals living in Farges and Montavert — offer bargain hunters second-hand items, flea market finds, and attic treasures. Access is free for visitors.
A refreshment stand and a food point are set up in the village of Farges to allow bargain hunters to take a break on site. Exhibitor pitches are reserved for residents of the two villages.
