Every Saturday morning, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Place Charles David in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon transforms into a flea market. This well-established weekly event brings together professional exhibitors and individuals who offer antiques, furniture, decorative objects, clothing, trinkets, and curiosities in a lively and friendly atmosphere.

Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, the other side of the Rhône

Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a town steeped in history, located on the right bank of the Rhône opposite the Palais des Papes. A royal city par excellence, it is home to the Fort Saint-André, a 14th-century royal fortress crowning Mont Andaon, and the Tour Philippe le Bel, which once guarded access to the Pont Saint-Bénézet. The town has several important museums and monasteries, including the famous Chartreuse du Val de Bénédiction. This rich heritage gives the weekly flea market a beautiful setting.
