Twice a year, in the spring and autumn, Brocante Passion brings together up to 85 professional antique dealers along the imposing walls of Fort Saint-André. This biannual event has established itself as one of the leading professional flea markets in the entire greater Avignon region, attracting collectors, decorators, and lovers of antique objects from all over France and Europe.

Fort Saint-André, an exceptional medieval setting

Fort Saint-André is one of the best-preserved royal fortresses in the South of France. Built in the 14th century by the Kings of France to assert their power against the Avignon papacy, it crowns Mont Andaon with its twin towers and thick walls, offering a striking panorama of Avignon, the Rhône, and the Alpilles. It is at the foot of these majestic ramparts that the exhibitors of Brocante Passion set up their stalls.

Brocante Passion is reserved for professional antique dealers with a valid Kbis number. This requirement guarantees visitors a rigorous selection of authentic objects: antique pottery and ceramics, crystal and glassware, quality furniture, silverware, antique wine-making tools, collectible toys, tableware, and curiosities. The dealers come from the region as well as from Puy-en-Velay, the Alpilles, Corrèze, or Jura, offering great geographical and stylistic variety.

Villeneuve-lès-Avignon is a royal city with remarkable heritage. In addition to Fort Saint-André, it houses the Tour Philippe le Bel, the Chartreuse du Val de Bénédiction — one of the largest Carthusian monasteries in France — and important museums.
