About Flea Market Pipriac

The weekly flea market of Pipriac is one of the most reputable Sunday events in Brittany. Every Sunday from March to June, nearly 300 professional and private exhibitors take over the rue des Dolmens and its surroundings to offer antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, tools, vintage clothing, and collector's items. This regular flea market attracts bargain hunters from all over Ille-et-Vilaine, Morbihan, and Loire-Atlantique.

300 exhibitors every Sunday in Pipriac

The Pipriac flea market is an institution in the Breton flea market scene. Every Sunday morning, from March to June, the rue des Dolmens (9 rue des Dolmens, 35550 Pipriac) transforms into a vast second-hand market. Nearly 300 exhibitors — flea market professionals and private individuals — set up their stalls over several hundred meters. You can find antique Breton furniture, earthenware tableware, trinkets, books, linens, old tools, vinyl records, and retro decorative objects. The atmosphere is that of a true open-air flea market, friendly and popular.

Pipriac, a rural town south of Ille-et-Vilaine

Pipriac is a commune of about 4,400 inhabitants located south of the Ille-et-Vilaine department, in the community of communes of Redon Agglomération. A town of character situated between the forests and moors of the Redon region, Pipriac retains interesting rural heritage: its Saint-Pierre church, its purple schist houses, and its hiking trails along the Don river. The commune is also known for its nearby dolmen de la Roche-aux-Fées and its tradition of street markets, of which the Sunday flea market is the jewel.

An unmissable event for Breton bargain hunters

The reputation of the Pipriac flea market extends far beyond the canton's borders. Bargain hunters come from Rennes, Redon, Vannes, and even Nantes to search the stalls for a good deal. The market is held outdoors, in a relaxed morning atmosphere. A refreshment stand and fast-food stalls allow you to regain strength between finds. Parking is free in the adjacent streets and at the town's parking lot.
