From July to August, every Saturday, the Chapelle du Couvent in Langogne becomes the venue for a weekly flea market. This regular summer event is appreciated by both the town's residents and the many holidaymakers staying in the Margeride and Lake Naussac region.
The weekly regularity of this market allows everyone to participate without having to organize too far in advance. Exhibitors, mainly individuals and a few small antique dealers, offer a selection of items that is renewed each week: clothing, books, tableware, toys, tools, trinkets, and objects of all kinds.
The Chapelle du Couvent is one of the most remarkable heritage buildings in Langogne. This former convent building, restored and repurposed, offers an exceptional architectural setting for markets and cultural events. Its location in the heart of the town makes it easily accessible on foot from all districts and tourist accommodations.
Langogne (48300) is the main town in northern Lozère, at the gateway to Margeride. Known for its artificial lake of Naussac, its medieval grain hall, and its granite houses, it is an important center of life in this high-altitude territory.
