Every Sunday of the year 2025, the parking lot of Quincaillerie Bramaise, at 3 and 7 avenue de la Piège in Bram, hosted the town's weekly car boot sale. Individuals and professionals met from 7 am to offer clothing, tableware, furniture, trinkets, and all sorts of second-hand items. This Sunday market, accessible from Carcassonne and Castelnaudary via the D6113, remained a friendly meeting point in Lauragaise throughout the season.
The strategic location of the site, a stone's throw from the highway roundabout and McDonald's in the shopping area, facilitated access for passing visitors. Free entry and free parking contributed to the loyalty of a regular clientele, eager for bargains and unusual discoveries.
The weekly car boot sale of Bram will resume its Sunday events in 2026, still on avenue de la Piège, continuing a well-established tradition in the Aude region.
