The Walduhn Hall Car Boot Sale in Sommerau took place on Sunday 27 April 2025 in a warm spring atmosphere. Organised by the Léonard de Vinci Secondary School Parents Association, it brought together private sellers offering clothing, toys, books, small furniture, trinkets, childcare items and various objects. Bargain hunters from neighbouring villages of the Kochersberg, Saverne and the whole region took advantage of this fine spring day to find great deals. The refreshment stand and light catering run by parent volunteers contributed to the convivial atmosphere of the event. Profits were donated to funding educational projects and school outings at the Léonard de Vinci secondary school.
