The Vouvant Medieval Festival was held on Sunday 10 August 2025 in Mélusine's town. Medieval market with costumed craftsmen, brocante of old and medieval items, knight shows, music, acrobatics, and activities for the whole family. A return to the Middle Ages in one of France's Most Beautiful Villages.

2025 edition
On Sunday 10 August 2025, Vouvant turned into a full medieval town for an exceptional day. From morning, costumed craftsmen, troubadours, knights filled the streets at Mélusine tower's foot. Medieval market featured active forges, pottery, basketry, illumination. Specialised brocanteurs displayed old and medieval treasures.
Shows all day: knight combats, fencing, falconry, medieval music, acrobats. Kids' workshops: writing, heraldry, dance. Foodies: spit-roasted pork, mead, medieval pastries.
Fine attendance — families, history fans, curious visitors from across the region. 2026 expected in August, continuing the summer tradition.
