Vouneuil-sur-Vienne Children's Clothing and Baby Fair

A baby fair in the heart of Grand Châtellerault

Vouneuil-sur-Vienne, 2,000 inhabitants between Châtellerault and Chauvigny, on the Vienne river and next to Futuroscope, hosts its children's clothing and baby fair on 25-26 April 2026. Held at the village hall, this yearly event draws crowds from Grand Châtellerault, Bonneuil-Matours, Saint-Cyr, Colombiers and northern Poitiers.

A consignment system

Parents bring outgrown clothes, unused baby gear (pushchairs, car seats, high chairs, travel cots, play mats) and toys in good shape. They set the prices, then collect unsold items and sale proceeds. A small commission funds the organising association.

An eco-friendly event

Circulating children's gear between generations is sustainable: baby clothes are used so briefly it would be wasteful to use them only once. The fair cuts waste, supports young parents' budgets, and strengthens village bonds.
