Nozay Village Festival Flea Market: a festive Whitsun weekend
The Comité des Fêtes de Nozay (cdfnozay.com) organises a particularly successful annual village festival each Whitsun weekend. The programme includes a funfair on Saturday with rides and entertainment for all ages, a fireworks display on Saturday evening, and on Sunday, the grand flea market attracting around 200 sellers to the Place de la Mairie.
The bar set up under the village market halls provides refreshments throughout the day. Two sanitary blocks are available on site.
Nozay, between Marcoussis and La Ville-du-Bois
Nozay is an Essonne commune of around 7,000 inhabitants, on the Beauce plateau halfway between Marcoussis and La Ville-du-Bois. The village's covered market halls play a central role in local associative and festive life.
