Vide ta Chambre: The APEI Event in Pithiviers-le-Vieil

Twice a year — in spring in March and in autumn in October — the Association des Parents d'Élèves Indépendants (APEI) of Pithiviers-le-Vieil organizes its "Vide ta Chambre" (Empty your room) at the town's gymnasium. This event for families brings together around 60 exhibitors and many visitors around second-hand goods, for the direct benefit of the village's nursery and primary school.

A Solidarity Event for the School

The APEI of Pithiviers-le-Vieil is an active association that works throughout the year to improve the reception and learning conditions for the town's pupils. "Vide ta Chambre" is one of its flagship events: by bringing together families and neighbors around second-hand items, the association collects funds that are entirely donated to the school to finance school trips, educational materials, and educational projects.

Two Editions Per Year: March and October

"Vide ta Chambre" is held twice a year, allowing families to regularly clear out what the children have outgrown — clothes that are too small, abandoned toys, books read and re-read — and to find the items they need at good prices. The March edition marks the beginning of spring, and the October edition, closer to the holidays, is ideal for finding gifts at low prices. Each edition brings together around 60 exhibitors at the Pithiviers-le-Vieil gymnasium, from 9 am to 5 pm.
