Empty Your Room at Chapeiry school

On April 25, 2026, the APE de Chapeiry invites families to its 'Empty Your Room' event in the school courtyard. From 10am to 4pm, children become sellers, offering everything that clutters their bedrooms: toys, soft toys, board games, books, clothes and accessories.

Children at the heart of the event

The Empty Your Room concept puts children at the centre of the organization. They run the stands, set prices and negotiate with buyers, under the kind supervision of their parents. A fun educational experience teaching them the value of objects and the importance of reuse.

A sale for the whole family

Beyond the children's stands, parents can also offer baby equipment, good-condition children's clothing, school supplies and sports equipment for young ones.
